8 Bayside Junior Players are included in the BC Elite Youth Sevens travelling roster announced for 2012 Las Vegas tour
2 Bayside Junior Players will also be representing the Washington State Youth Sevens at the Las Vegas Youth Tournament.

It is with great regret that Bayside learned of the passing of Pat Anderson early this week. Pat was a life long supporter of rugby, a past coach of Bayside and the Fraser Valley Venom, as well as a past President of the BCRU.
Our condolences go out to Pat's family.
A memorial service will be held January 5th, 2pm at the Hilton Hotel, 6083 McKay Ave, Burnaby.

Mike Pajic being recognised as an outstanding long term volunteer for sports by Surrey Councillor Mary Martin, the award was presented by the Surrey Outdoor Sports Advisory Committee at their annual volunteer appreciation dinner.

The Bayside fundraising group has come up with a program that will allow the club to both sustain itself for the construction of a new field house at SSAP and the possibility of offering scholarships and bursaries to deserving rugby players in the community.

U13/U14 Boys: Although they did not play in a league structure, they dominated their 7-aside format tournaments each week.
U15 Boys: Lower Mainland Champions and playing in the BC Championships Next Weekend.
U16 Boys: BC Champions
U17 Boys: Lower Mainland Finalists – Losing a very tight 24 – 26 game
U18 Girls: Playing for the BC Championships Next Weekend
U19 Boys: Playing for the Tier 2 BC Championships Next Weekend.
