WOMEN LOSE SPIRITED BATTLE TO POCOMO |

Pocomo 12 at Halftime  The
Bayside women lost a spirited battle with their rivals from Pocomo
on Saturday.
We
were behind 12-0 at halftime, but a spirited assault by the
forwards in the second half saw us control the ball for
fifteen minutes and score two tries. then with the game
swinging in our favour the starting ref left to fix a lost
contact. with the replacement ref (from Pocomo by the way) in
it stemmed the tide and put the momentum back in Pocomo'
favor. when the real ref came back, it was too late, the
damage had been done. we went from knocking on their doorstep
to having a try scored on us. they put one more in in injury
time to put the game out of reach. this is our last match before
the Christmas break. when we come back we play Seattle February
1 at home for a make-up game from last week that couldn't be
played.
