2010 Season Format                     <back>

Pre-Season

There will be pre-season training, which will be on January 17^th  & 24^th, 2010, and will be on the turf field only.  This will be focusing on rugby skills and training.  The season will start on January 31^st, with the official registration day.

Costs:

$125 per player.  Registration day is January 31^st, however, there will be no registration cut-off date.  

Times:

Sunday mornings from 9:30 – 11:00 AM.  Younger age groups may not use the entire time slot.

 

On February 14^th, Grade 4’s to 7’s will have rugby twice per week, for the remainder of the season.  There will be an additional  practice on Wednesday at 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM on the grass fields. 

 

K’s –Grade 3’s will remain once a week on Sunday’s.

Venue :

K’s to grade 4’s will use the Turf fields next to the Rotary Field House the entire season.

Grade 5’s to Grade 7’s will use lower grass Rugby fields, South of 20^th Ave.  Starting on January 31^st and ending in June.

 Sunday Game/Training Format:

• K’s to Grade 4’s will play flag rugby Mostly in an intramural league format.  There will be fixtures organized with other clubs
•  Grades 5’s to 7’s will play fixtures with other clubs in a 7’s rugby format.
