Bayside U12 vs Surrey Beavers U12 - Jan 23rd Onion Cup

Bayside Mini Rugby U12 team played they Surrey Beavers U12 team this past Saturday, for the opening match of the year. 

The match was played after Bayside's 2nd team, on the main pitch, and was the curtain raiser for the Bayside Sharks 1st (premier) team.  All three Bayside Sharks senior men's teams beat their Surrey counterparts on the day.  The Bayside Sharks U12 team did not disappoint and kept this winning trend by a margin of 7 tries to 2.  The Sharks were led by Thomas Blackburn who was all over the pitch with some fantastic runs and a staggering tackle count.  Offensively, Quinton Brown (3 tries) and Liam Dolan (2 tires) led a fantastic team effort.  The Surrey Beavers U12 did not give up, and played hard the entire match, scoring the final try of the match as the game ended.

Congratulations to Bayside Sharks U12 and Surrey Beavers U12 for a fantastic display of rugby.
